Brooklyn Moran is a 2019 West Virginia University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance with an Arts Administrations minor. Brooklyn has been a part of 5th Street Center for Dance for 15+ years where she trained and now teaches. During Brooklyn's college years, she was the WVU Student Dance Association’s Treasure and Lead Instructor for the WVU Summer Dance Academy’s Young Academy. Brooklyn was selected and attended the Governor's School for the Arts in 2013 and Point Parks International Summer Dance Intensive in 2014. She traveled to Boulder, Colorado, in 2018 where she trained for two and a half weeks and was asked to dance with Interweave Dance Theatre the following year. Brooklyn is still training and dancing with Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop and IDT. She has done guest work and performed the choreography of Artists such as Doug Varone, and Christy Chad McNeil. Brooklyn resides in Morgantown, WV, and continues to share her skills and abilities with the students at 5th St. And serves as not only an instructor but also choreographer and Assistant Artistic Director.
